Established more than 40 years ago, we have realized our expansion efforts through a network of appointed distributors, major wholesalers and retail chains.

BACKGROUND

We are listed on Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad, Malaysia since 1994. Headquartered in Penang, a state in northern peninsular Malaysia, we operate under a liberal political climate with stable socio-economy, attractive investment and promotions incentives. Together with a good and effective infrastructure and public amenities, Malaysia is now a premier location for business in South East Asian region. We have certainly benefited from this business friendly environment. The availability of an efficient and effective logistic system also facilitate the transportation of our products to distribution outposts locally and around the world within the required deadlines.

OEM, ODM & OBM

Over the years, we build on the trust with our Seal of Quality - Camel Paper Products that adorn our every product. The trust that we take quality seriously and deliver only the best. We want consumers to associate our brand with stationery, "Think stationery, think Camel Paper Products". This is evident when our Camel Paper Products brand was conferred the Superbrands Malaysia 2003/2004 award in 2003. Camel Paper Products features three series; Campap, Write-On and Forest. Campap leads the pack. Its contemporary designs captured consumers that are looking for paper stationery products for professional use. With growing brand recognition, Campap has expanded to embody a wide array of stationery items for daily use. Its tagline "Inspiring Ideas" reflects our committed intent to produce product that will inspire user to create works of value and beauty. Its strong local presence has earned Campap the prestigious Superbrands Malaysia 2005 award recently. In addition we offer ODM arrangements by proposing exclusive designs for discerning clients. This value added service has been well received by our customers. Some examples of our successful partnerships are collaboration with Disney, Paws Incorporated and Warner Bros. to develop distinctive designs for products under their brands. Winnie The Pooh, Disney Princesses, Mickey Mouse, Disney Classic, Garfield and Looney Tunes respectively. Another service is the made-to-order OEM arrangement with products following specifications and designs set by customers under their own brands.

MARKETS AND STRATEGIES

This year, we secured an OBM order from Mongolia that will help in expanding our presence in the Far East. We continue to maintain and expand our presence in the Middle East, European & Oceanic regions. This is an acknowledgment of our innate understanding of market perception for quality and designs. Our presence and products in the international arena is affirmed constantly through participation at international trade fairs and exhibitions such as Premiere Paper World in Frankfurt, Germany, Hong Kong International Gifts & Stationery Fair and the SHOPA Show, US.

QUALITY

Quality sets us apart. Our commitment to quality is the key to us being the first in our industry to gain the coveted ISO 9002 quality certification in 1996. Today, we have upgraded to the ISO 9001: 2000 edition quality certification. It is a high point for us on the continuous track to maintaining a high standard of quality. It also reaffirmed that quality will always be an essential component in achieving total customer satisfaction. Our products are simply the best.

STRATEGIC INVESTMENTS

The capital expansion exercise we embarked on in 2000 has bourned fruits. Our MAN Roland offset printing machines use highly automated technology to speed up and simplify printing processes, allowing for short make ready time with maximum quality, security and flexible job handling that optimise resources utilization. The Casemaker machines that allow customisation to meet user requirements in producing a wide range of book case products. The multipurpose Binder is a sophisticated automatic on-line Binder that features cold glue, hotmelt and PUR together with HF drying facilities for the manufacture of book blocks, among others. Its unique configuration allows auto interface to trimming and stacking systems thereby producing finished products at end of line. The Automatic Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), installed in our warehouse allows for efficient space utilisation and effective storage control. With ASRS, we are also able to offer value added service to our customers by providing storage for their products if so required. With customers veering towards valued added products and services, we are confident that our investments will enable us to meet their demands.
